Dear Friend of the Stamford Senior Center,
As Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Stamford Senior Center I am writing to advise you that our Executive Director, Ana Nelson, is leaving the Center Friday, April 4. Ana is moving out of the area. We are very grateful for Ana’s leadership and commitment to the Center for the past three years and wish her the best of luck in her new home and job.
The Senior Center Board has formed a Search Committee that has begun the process of selecting a new Executive Director. Roberta Eichler is the Committee Chair. We are committed to hiring the most qualified person who will keep our Center in the forefront of service providers to Stamford’s older adults. We expect to have a new Executive Director in place by mid May to ensure a smooth transition.
Former Board Chair and current Trustee, Ellie Isidro, will serve as the Interim Director.
