TransportationDriving to The Center:
The Senior Center has 30 parking spots on the third floor of the Government Center next to our back entrance. Once you are a member, you must have a parking tag that you can request at our Front Desk. You can also park on the Second, Third, and Fourth floors of the Garage in the non-designated spaces without the need for a parking tag.
Tokens:
Bus tokens for CT Transit are available to our members at the Front Desk. Members are eligible for two free tokens a day upon request. They must be in person to pick them up each day. Click HERE for the Routes Schedule
Easy Access:
Easy Access is a door-to-door service run by Norwalk Transit. Please call Norwalk Transit/Easy Access at (203) 852-0000 to apply. Call them the day before to set up a pick-up and return from your house to your destination.
Tickets cost $2.50 per ride. If you let Stamford Senior Center know that you are a member of Easy Access, tickets will cost $1.00 per ride when picked up at our Senior Center.

Half Price Taxi Cab Fare:
If you visit the Cashiering and Permitting office in the lobby of the government center, opposite the Town Clerk's office, Senior Adults can purchase Taxi Cab vouchers at half price. Seniors, 62 years of age or older, who are residents of Stamford, are eligible to purchased cab fare (good with Eveready Transportation, USA Taxi, and Independent Taxi). Tickets are red. FISH of Stamford:
FISH is an all-volunteer group that provides transportation in the Stamford area for those of all ages who have no other means of reaching health facilities. Volunteer drivers provide transportation in their own vehicles Monday thru Thursday 9AM to 4PM. Those requesting rides must be ambulatory - no wheel chairs can be accommodated.
