Stamford Senior Center follows the Government Center for Center Closure and the Stamford Public Schools for Cancellations and Delays. If the Stamford Public Schools has a Cancellation or Delay, our Programming will follow that. The reasoning behind this is that if it is not safe to transport the students to schools, then the roads are not safe for mass transportation. During these occasions, the Center's programming will be cancelled for the Delay or Closure period. In most instances, you can call the Center's main line and the Voicemail will inform you if there is a Closure, Cancellation, or Delay.
